Taebo

So yesterday I did Taebo for an hour with weights. I like to use hand weights while I do it so that I can give my arms a better workout. I didn't eat any treats and i didn't snack after eight. Also, I had about 60 ounces of water. I felt really good and was glad Cael let me do taebo. Today when Javin gets home we're going to do taebo again, a different workout, because he wants to use the weights with me and he doesn't have school tomorrow so I figure instead of homework we can exercise. Maybe it will get some of his energy out. Already today I've blown the no snacks because Cael and I went to the store right after dropping Javin off for school and we got doughnuts, gross, I don't know why I eat those things, anyway hopefully the rest of the day goes better.

Another one's gone

So, I have lost another pound. I think that being sick kind of impacted my diet in a weird way. I've been grossed out at the sight of sugar and have been eating less at my meals. I started taking Caellum walking at the mall because it's freezing and they open the doors right after I drop Javin off at school. I walk and he reads and then after about an hour he plays in the play area and we go home. It's been kind of fun plus keeps us out of the weather and out of the house which is a plus because if I were home I'd probably be snacking. I've also been really busy at work and feel like I'm constantly running around and you wouldn't believe the arm workout I get when I have to do a new coat display up on the wall. Anyway, it's been a good week. Also, I have cut back to one soda every other day and hope to cut them out all together.

Sickness Woes

Well, I lost two pounds in one day but mainly because I've had that stupid stomach flu that is going around. I finally have eaten a piece of toast and some chicken noodle soup today and am not throwing up which is a plus!! So workouts are at a stand still and there is definatley no sugar going on because it makes me want to puke just thinking about it. i did decide that I need to cut out the sodas and maybe this is a good time to start. I am feeling better slowly and hope to have a great workout starting monday again.

Allright haven't posted in a while. My goals have been shot. My ankle is still swollen and super bruised. I did try to do a little taebo the other day but had to take it easy. I'm going to take the kids to the walking trail today for a couple of miles. It's just a good thing that I had to work this weekend because I'm guaranteed no snacking and I'm standing and walking the entire time so instead of idle sitting at least I was active and not eating the leftover Halloween candy. I guess the important thing is to make sure that I keep doing something even if it is just light the keep the habit of exercise. Also, on Thursday I will be going to the gym here and utilizing a free membership for a month and if I use it I'll start going after I drop Javin off at school. It's starting to get cold here and so while I don't mind going out in it I don't really like to take Caellum because he refuses to wear a hat and I don't want to make him sick. Anyway, I haven't lost any weight but i haven't gained any either in the absence of exercise so hopefully my ankle will heal fast and I can get back into the harder workouts.

So, I got up before the kids and did taebo on Tuesday and then I did pretty well on eating. The only thing is there was an awful lot of yawning going on and I didn't get a great workout in. So, Wednesday I was all excited to go for a run after dropping Javin off at school and came home to change and fell on a toy and sprained my ankle really badly I still went for a two mile walk on it and then to work that night but it was super swollen and today I'm going to be staying off of it. I will however try to get in pilates or something that doesn't require any standing so that i can workout tomorrow and go to work all day. Already today I have eaten a doughnut so there goes the diet but as long as I don't eat anything else too badly I should be ok. I even got veggies for the snack at our game tonight.

My health goals

So, Allison has really motivated me to get back into shape. I've been saying forever that I need to and I've been doing a decent job but i would really like to get back my pre baby body. Not that I can blame the babies because I did most of the damage on my own which means I need to undo the damage by myself. I want to thank Ali even though she will probably never read this, for being so motivating and for doing such a great job. She has challenged everyone to loose 5 pounds by December 1st and I'd like to get in on the challenge. I will start tracking my success because maybe if I make it public I will be able to do a better job at reaching my goals.

Goal 1: wake up early and do taebo at least 4 days a week
Goal 2: try to go for a run 2 times a week
Goal 3: Cut out the crap (Alison is doing no sugar but I think I will do a one day a week treat day)
Goal 4: be better about watching calories and trying to eat something small every 3 hours
Goal 5: Do not eat past 8 o'clock

I will do an official weigh in starting tomorrow and post my weekly success (leaving out the actual amount that I weigh and just stating the pounds/ inches lost.

I hope that this makes a difference and I will try to post everyday so that I can report my success of failures and even though I think no one will be looking at this I hope it can help me to do as great of a job as Ali's doing. Thanks again
