Time to start again

I started this blog when Cael was a year and a half.  He will be 6 in December so while I lost weight after having him I have since had 2 children moved a few times had my husband deployed twice and gained a butt load of weight.  Well, my baby is now 2 months old and I'm bound and determined that by Cael's birthday this year I will be the same weight that I got down to after starting this blog.  Although I know no one keeps track of this blog it worked last time so I'm going to start again.  So my goals:  1:  drink more water  2: No more soda   3:  exercise at least 5 times a week   4: eat healthier
I have a pair of jeans that I would like to be into by my birthday in October and a pair of awesome pants that I would love to be into by Christmas.  So, here goes AGAIN!!

Back on track

So it's been a long time since I started this blog. Since then, I lost lots of weight, gained it all back because I hurt my back and started doing physical therapy and then got pregnant and had a baby. Now I'm back in the groove. I've been consistently walking and doing taebo and am starting pilates again. I think I'll start keeping track on this blog again because it makes me be more accountable. I know no one looks at this but keeping track and writing things down helps me be better. So today I've had an instant breakfast, a brownie, and a soda. I went for a walk and did taebo yesterday and will be doing pilates in just a little. Wish me luck, I totally love my babies but need to loose them off of my body.

Another pound

WOW I can't believe I haven't posted on here for so long. Since my last post I have lost another pound. I've completely cut out soda and have been eating much more healthy. I've been taking Cael to the mall in the mornings and walking for at least an hour and I'm currently at a weight that i have not been since before I had Javin. I am also drinking so much more water. Also, I'm a little glad to say that because I just have my family here in Ga I will not be participating in the Christmas eating that usually occurs when I am in Utah and we have cookie exchanges and pie and treats and all of those things. We don't have any of that here but I will make a lemon meringue pie for Christmas. So, hopefully I can keep up with the progress

I got up and did Taebo this morning and then really didn't do terrible over the weekend. On Thanksgiving I only had one piece of pie and for some reason chocolate has been grossing me out so that's a good thing. Anyway, I did an hour of taebo and had an instant breakfast for breakfast and a few leftovers for lunch. My downfall today is that it's Caellum's birthday and I'm sure I'll break down and eat a piece of cake. The good news is that I have lost 5 pounds since the start of the challenge and the start of this blog. I'm doing much better with my eating habits I just need to get back into the groove of working out since my ankle is feeling better. It's amazing how just a little time off sure makes it hard to go back to exercising. I will say thought that in the two years since having Caellum I have lost over 20 pounds. If you count the weight I was when he was born it's over 50 pounds. So I'm moving along just more slowly than I could have imagined.

Taebo

So yesterday I did Taebo for an hour with weights. I like to use hand weights while I do it so that I can give my arms a better workout. I didn't eat any treats and i didn't snack after eight. Also, I had about 60 ounces of water. I felt really good and was glad Cael let me do taebo. Today when Javin gets home we're going to do taebo again, a different workout, because he wants to use the weights with me and he doesn't have school tomorrow so I figure instead of homework we can exercise. Maybe it will get some of his energy out. Already today I've blown the no snacks because Cael and I went to the store right after dropping Javin off for school and we got doughnuts, gross, I don't know why I eat those things, anyway hopefully the rest of the day goes better.

Another one's gone

So, I have lost another pound. I think that being sick kind of impacted my diet in a weird way. I've been grossed out at the sight of sugar and have been eating less at my meals. I started taking Caellum walking at the mall because it's freezing and they open the doors right after I drop Javin off at school. I walk and he reads and then after about an hour he plays in the play area and we go home. It's been kind of fun plus keeps us out of the weather and out of the house which is a plus because if I were home I'd probably be snacking. I've also been really busy at work and feel like I'm constantly running around and you wouldn't believe the arm workout I get when I have to do a new coat display up on the wall. Anyway, it's been a good week. Also, I have cut back to one soda every other day and hope to cut them out all together.

Sickness Woes

Well, I lost two pounds in one day but mainly because I've had that stupid stomach flu that is going around. I finally have eaten a piece of toast and some chicken noodle soup today and am not throwing up which is a plus!! So workouts are at a stand still and there is definatley no sugar going on because it makes me want to puke just thinking about it. i did decide that I need to cut out the sodas and maybe this is a good time to start. I am feeling better slowly and hope to have a great workout starting monday again.
